They are organizing and participating in hall meetings, and are protesting through peaceful demonstrations to educate and sensitize the public on class, race, caste, gender and religious oppressions taking place in India and across the globe.

Jewish Voice for Peace

JPVSouth Bay Jewish Voice for Peace is affiliated with national JVP, an organization that opposes anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, and anti-Arab bigotry and oppression.  JVP seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians; a just solution for Palestinian refugees based on principles established in international law; an end to violence against civilians; and peace and justice for all peoples of the Middle East.

Santa Clara County Move to Amend
Formed in September 2009, Move to Amend is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests.
We are calling for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that 1) inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that 2) money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns.
