The Peninsula/Palo Alto and San Jose Branches of WILPF sponsored an anniversary collaborative reading of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s powerful and prescient speech, “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break the Silence” which was delivered on April 4, 1967, at New York’s Riverside Church, exactly one year before his assassination. We were one of the many California Poor People’s Campaign readings. Here is the video of our reading.
