Todd Miller has written an exploration of climate change and the hostility toward the refugees it creates.
Todd Miller's book Storming the Wall: Climate Change, Migration, and Homeland Security is "a well-researched and grim exploration of the connections between climate change and the political hostility toward the refugees it creates. ...Miller visited several locales to witness this bleak transition (border hostility) including Honduras and the U.S.-Mexico border, and he argues that these developing strife zines, far from representing natural change, are fundamentally class-based phenomena." (Kirkus Reviews) Miller writes: "Climate change will only intensify these inequalities and widen the gulf between those who are environmentally secure and those who are not."
