Community Food Drive & Unhoused Neighbors’ Pets Care Packages – June 2022

Hello Community!

Thank you for your support with the Peace Pantry! Your donations truly make a positive impact on food security in San José.

On Sunday, June 5th, the Peace Pantry had our monthly food drive, where community members come to support food distribution.  This month was special because we collaborated with San Jose Strong to assemble care packages for unhoused neighbors’ pets!  These packages included doggy blankets, wipes, treats, and toys.  Special shout-out to Yareli, who helped spearhead this project!  Raymond J. will help distribute them through the Unhoused Resource Group.

Stay tuned for our July 17th, 2022 Food Drive! You can stop by the San Jose Peace and Justice Center parking lot to drop off food and supplies to stock the Peace Pantry (48 S 7th St) from 11AM – 2PM.
