Make sure to vote, vote, VOTE!
March 3, 2020 is the Presidential Primary Election. This year the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters (along with 14 other counties) is implementing The Voter’s Choice Act, a new law passed by the California State Legislature in 2016, which changes the ways you can vote.
If you are a registered voter in Santa Clara County, you should have been mailed a Vote By Mail Ballot. You have three options to return this ballot:
1) Prepaid Postage Return Envelope
2) ANY Official Ballot Drop Box
3) ANY Santa Clara County Vote Center
You can choose to use your Vote By Mail Ballot or vote in person at any Vote Center location within Santa Clara County. Vote Centers are universal polling places and will be open several days before each election. You can vote on a paper ballot or on a new voting machine.

Approximately 22 Vote Centers will open for 11 days including Election Day, and approximately 88 Vote Centers will be open for 4 days including Election Day for a total of 110 Vote Centers throughout the County on Election Day.
