Sixty Four Years! – -- $6400 Challenge

September 21 is International Day of Peace and we are commemorating 64 years since the founding of the San Jose Peace and Justice Center in 1957.
At a time of great struggle with the sustained pandemic, climate crisis, continuing wars of empire and so many needs going unmet in our communities, it is important to reflect and connect with one another.
Join us for a virtual commemoration on Thursday, September 21 at 5:30 pm. We’ll share our ongoing video project with photos of peace activists and events over the years. The video will be shared at about 5:45 pm with the rest of the time to catch up and chat with others. We hope to see you in the Zoom bubble.

Join us for International Day of Peace! This is our annual open house and fundraiser. We will have a tabling fair, entertainment, food, and fun. Please RSVP by September 18, 2019, so we know how many people to expect and how much food to serve. Please let us know if your group is interested in attending and tabling with us!

A solidarity donation is $20. We gratefully accept more and if you want us to donate your ticket to a community member, please let us know. You can message or email at coordinator@sanjosepeace.org.

Groups Tabling

Tabling will take place outside in the parking lot of San Jose Peace and Justice Center. Groups are asked to bring their own table to the event. If unable to, please let us know so we can have some extra tables on site for those groups who need them.
