We are seeking new members to join the San Jose Peace and Justice Center Coordinating Council!

The Coordinating Council helps direct the activities and affairs of the San José Peace and Justice Center in partnership with the Center Director and staff. Collectively, this group makes decisions and mediates difficulties that arise. Individually, the members are dedicated and valued volunteers.

The Center operates with minimal staff so Coordinating Council members take a larger volunteer role within the organization, committing to 8 to 10 hours per month. As with other organizations, Coordinating Council members are responsible for the overall financial health of the organization. Each member is to become a monthly sustaining donor at a level appropriate to their situation. Also, each member is to ask for 1 to 3 sizable donations per year and/or assist in a fundraising event hosted by the Center.

If you have any questions, please email Michele at michele@sanjosepeace.org or the current Coordinating Council members at leadership@sanjosepeace.org (this email will send to each of the Coordinating Council members).
