A message from the SJSU Student Coalition organizers of #KeepSJSUHybrid
Dear #KeepSJSUHybrid signee,
The #KeepSJSUHybrid team is contacting your organization because you have previously shown support by signing our petition. Thank you for uniting with us in order to protect yourselves and the most vulnerable populations of our community.
As an update, I am reaching out to give you and your organization an early notice about a hybrid protest that the #KeepSJSUHybrid team will be hosting on March 25th starting at 10am to demand for hybrid or virtually accessible classes in an ongoing pandemic. There will be an in-person portion of the protest while the online portion will take place via Zoom. Those interested can join us here for the virtual side of the protest (Password: 144147). For further information about the silent protest arrangements, please refer to our Instagram page or the attached file below.
For non-SJSU affiliates who are interested in attending the protest, we encourage you to show up on the virtual side so as to prevent any backlash from the university for bringing any non-SJSU members onto campus.
As previously mentioned, this email is to provide you with an early notification for what’s to come. If you would like to join in any capacity, please show out as an advocate in whichever modality works best for you. Additionally, we have a community discord server if you wish to remain updated about the campaign as a supporter. Please let us know if you wish to join the server and have signed the petition but have not received the link to join the server yet.
Again, we thank you for your collective contribution. As an extension of our community, we hope you will continue to stand up and fight for our most vulnerable members. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
