We are sorry to announce that Michele Mashburn has left her position as Director of the San Jose Peace & Justice Center to pursue other opportunities. Those of us who have been involved with the Center over the years learned a great deal from Michele, not just in the area of disability rights and justice but also in the need for professional policies and practices in how we function as a nonprofit.
We thank Michele for her almost six years of service and wish her success in her future endeavors. She can be reached at michelem1029 at gmail.
Coordination of activities at the Center will be handled for the next few weeks by our Coordinating Council team: Donna Dillard, Karla Henriquez, Jeff Lake, Jenna Perez, RJ Ramsey, and Joan Simon.
