On November 5, our community lost a legendary peace activist, Barby Ulmer.
Barby was an active member of Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom, one of the founders of the San Jose Peace Center and along with her late husband Vic, lead the non-profit organization Our Developing World for many years.
We will keep Barby in our hearts as we continue our work for a peaceful and just world.
