Palo Alto, CA, April 2020—In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center (PPJC) is planning a virtual Climate Rally on Friday, April 24th. The Climate Rally will debut a special video presentation featuring climate experts and activists explaining what climate justice and political engagement means amidst a global pandemic and beyond.
During the Climate Rally, the community will come together (live) and show their social solidarity while remaining physically distant during a global pandemic. Neighbors, young and old will share their creative signs, chants, and artistic designs to commemorate Earth Week.

Special feature: the Climate Rally is additionally supported by young artist and climate activist Aria Luna, who will showcase a short animation she created for this special event.
