Community Discussion on Abolition: History of Police featuring Andrea Prichett, Co-Founder of Cop Watch

“Black Americans being victimized and killed by the police is an epidemic.”

Join us this Sunday, October 4th at 4PM for a community discussion on abolition focusing on the history of police. Before the event, we will all listen to the NPR podcast “Throughline: American Police.”

Bring any other relevant resources you have to this open forum, and we will discuss in groups. We will be joined by Andrea Prichett, co-found of Cop Watch, a Bay Area grassroots abolitionist group, as she speaks about the history of police. Let’s discuss police violence in the community, as well as your right to observe the police.
