Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, whether it was getting dressed up, going out with friends to trick-or-treat, or getting scared by the haunted houses we all loved to go into. Many of us have fond memories of Halloween as children, but this year’s Halloween will definitely present itself as unconventional. Due to this, the San José Peace and Justice Center will be setting up our back parking lot as a family-friendly haunted house with activities for children!
The Haunted House will take place on Saturday, October 31st from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Due to the county guidelines in response to COVID, we will be hosting one-hour time blocks for anyone that would like to join.
Tickets for activities are $2 and each activity will be 1, 2, or 3 tickets, so please bring cash. Activities will include different crafts, caricature drawings, a photo booth, and more! Creepy, cute, and cool costumes strongly recommended!
Please remember when we have events at the Center lot, parking will be offsite. Everyone must wear a mask and people should stay physically distanced during the event.
To register for a time block, sign up here! Suggested donation for entry is $10.00 or individually wrapped/nonperishable food items for the Peace Panty – and this comes with 9 tickets!
