A community member and their family are seeking information regarding an incident between SJPD officers and Rene Driscoll.
On Tuesday, June 23rd, sometime between 7pm and 8pm, police made contact with Rene Driscoll. His family was informed that after the interaction with the police, Rene sustained head injuries and was transported to the hospital in an ambulance where he ended up in a coma. He tragically passed away from these health complications on Thursday June 25th.
This interaction happened near the Midtown Safeway on San Carlos and Race St. in San José. There is very little information about what took place that night.
