Healthcare is a Human Right! Everybody In, Nobody Out!
Join the Santa Clara County Single Payer Health Care Coalition for a webinar on Saturday, February 27 at 2-3:30P to learn more about the pressing need for health justice featuring grassroots community leaders from a spectrum of local organizations and movements.
COVID has exacerbated and laid bare the inequities of health care in low-income areas in Santa Clara County. This especially affects immigrants, people of color and disabled people. This webinar is a chance for grassroots community leaders to share experiences and solutions, and for all of us to learn from each other.
“The struggle for health justice in California continues with the introduction of new single payer health care legislation in Sacramento and the necessary and continuous building of the movement in the streets and communities all across out state in support of that legislation,” says Salem Ajluni of the SCC Single Payer Health Care Coalition. “This is an issue and struggle of profound importance for our own community.”
