American taxpayers have spent $21 trillion on the “war on terror”. Yet after these 20 years, the 99% are worse off, jobless rates are soaring, over 650,000 Americans have died of Covid-19, and the planet is sizzling.

We should cut the Pentagon budget and invest instead in clean energy, eliminate student debt, fund Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, living wages, affordable housing – the things that support life on this beautiful planet.
